Good-Bye January!

There is something about January that makes it feel longer than the whole year, right? We are coming down from back to back to back holidays, time with family, food. SO MUCH FOOD!

I try my best to plan. Don't we all? January comes around and my organized self perks up ready to tackle the calendar and all my colors specified by child, activity, military event and so on hoping to kick off the year with a bit of a grasp on what may come. Usually by May my calendars go to heck and my schedule looks like Iv over extended myself seven different ways all the while still trying to remember that, OH! Im responsible for planning and feeding meals to four people on a regular basis and then my brain EXPLODES just in time for summer.

I did intentionally plan a few things this year; my business reboot with Corry Frazier and Melissa Pepin, our spring break trip to visit family in Florida, and a mini fall weekend vacation when one of my closest friends moves back to America from Japan.

That's it!

That's the plan. I also decided in January I wasn't going to "plan." Last year was planned almost to exhaustion.

-Two failed IVF cycles Iv waited for since 2019.

-My dad fought a major health crisis and won.

-I started my photography business

There were so many big little things that happened through out the year, too. Things worth celebrating, things that took months to recover. So I decided that this year I wasn't going to plan, I was going to take moments as they came. Say yes to the adventures as they come. More flow and less rigid lines around "have-to's" and "must-do's." I encourage you to do the same!
